Mission : Exhibition Design / Scenic Design
Permanent exhibition of the upcoming Memorial of the Battle of Waterloo, Belgium for the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the battle.
The exhibition covers 1 650 sqm in two underground levels located next to the Lion’s Mound. The first part of the exhibition leads the visitor from the French Revolution, through Napoleon’s rise, until the battle itself, presented in a 4D film projected on a 180° screen, directed by Academy-Award winner Gérard Corbiau.
The second part covers the aftemath of the battle and its geopolitical consequences. The exhibition is enhanced by several high-tech techniques, such as augmented reality, touchscreens, video mapping, and audio-guides.
