Permanent exhibition of the upcoming Memorial of the Battle of Waterloo, Belgium for the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the battle.
The exhibition will cover 1 650 sqm in two underground levels located next to the Lion’s Mound. The first part of the exhibition will lead the visitor from the French Revolution, through Napoleon’s rise, untill the battle itself, presented in a 4D film projected on a 180° screen, directed by Academy-Award winner Gérard Corbiau.
The second part will cover the aftemath of the battle and its geopolitical consequences. The exhibition will be enhanced by several high-tech techniques, such as augmented reality, touchscreens, video mapping, and audio-guides.
